Guppy's Point
The "first" island that is farthest south in The Oyster Chain and one of the Southernmost in the hemisphere. It lies about 75 miles East of the Makara Isle and 250 miles South of the Peninsula of Fabled Treasures.
Guppy and other small fish are abundant in these waters. While sometimes predatory fish can be found in the waters, the current tends to carry the small fish down the Chain, to Catfish Paradise and Megalodon's Bite. There is no tropical flora or palm trees on the island, but there are giant cacti, oleander shrubs large enough to be trees, agave plants, and fields of desert grasses that grow on the island. Because it is not very good for agriculture, it has been primarily settled by aquatic races to forage the oceans for their food. All of the residents live on the coastlines except for one resident who runs an apiary in the center of the island.
