Orym, Deity of the Sun

Orym, Deity of the Sun is a Lawful Good deity from the Pantheon of Perfection. Orym did not create the sun, but rather was placed in charge of it when the pantheon of perfection was created. Orym sees themself as the second in command of the pantheon as they are in charge of the greatest celestial body. Orym believes that everyone should be brought the cleansing light of the sun. Their followers have started crusades into both the underdark as well as into other planes in attempts to bring Orym's light to them.

Orym is present in most temples of perfection and has countless churches dedicated to them. Many major cities will have Orym present in both the temple and have a dedicated church as well. Orym's priests have a special duty during the month of darkness where they attempt to light up major cities to the best of their abilities. Since the shattering, only the cities on top of large leylines actually see anything close to normal daylight hours however.
