Iheyar, God of Spirits

Iheyar, God of Spirits is the singular deity of the Free Folk Faith. Debate about Ihevar's existence, and origins are rampant through clerical circles. Some clerics believe that Ihevar is a different name for a deity from the pantheon of elements, most commonly thought to be Gliss, Deity of Ice. Others believe Ihevar is demon similar to Lolth, and therefor the clerics of Ihevar are the same as the clerics from the Dissenters of the Spiders. Many try to state that Ihevar is simply a lie, and that his worshippers are hiding something, possible more primal magic. The final theory, which is the least common of the theories, is that Ihevar is a god from a different realm, that has managed to get himself stuck in the Shattered Lands.

Regardless of heavy debate outside Free Folk Faith, many freefolk follow Ihevar and Ivehar alone. Though the freefolk rarely give much details on Ihevar, it is common knowledge that they believe Ihevar created spirits, all spirits in all living beings. He encourages the following of ones heart,  or soul over hard reasoning ability, and many freefolk claim to have seen Ihevar in dreams, in trance states, and a lucky few claim to even have met him in the flesh.
