Avnon, Deity of Illusion (avnõ)

Avnon, Deity of Illusions is a Chaotic Neutral Deity in the Pantheon of Magic. They focus primarily on the school of illusion magic. They are also the patron deity of Esoteric Dragons. Avnon, being in charge of illusions has many followers of many sorts. Some of their followers might be actors or entertainers; while other followers might use illusion to manipulate and control. Avnon does not have many churches dedicated to him, but can usually be found in most temples of magic. Avnon recognized and asks his followers to recognize that lies are part of life. Though this importance placed on lies does not mean his followers lie about everything, rather they acknowledge that sometimes a lie can be helpful. When an actor on stage throws an illusionary dagger, the actor is lying to the audience for their benefit. When you tell a small child that you will protect them forever, it is for their benefit. Though Avnon does not reject followers who use lies in more extravagant ways, he does not require it.
