Tax Collector
Tax collectors gather the slugs of the average working duskers and give those slugs to the magistrates.
Prestige: Magistrates expect nothing less than perfect accounting and Duskers would rather swallow their slugs than see them taken away by the tax collector. They are not well liked. A tax collector without a Bluecoat escort is a corpse that hasn't figured it out yet.
Accoutrement: Tax collectors have purses and ledgers. Everyone hates that ledger. The purse looks nice, though.
Training: People don't train to be tax collectors. Somehow it happens. The only prerequisite is an affinity for survival and an absence of empathy.
