Helene's Menagerie
A cabaret and performance group that once stood in Silkshore. While Madame Helene usually booked private performances with her performers, they did have a base of operations in a converted factory in Silkshore.
The Citizens of Silkshore were not welcoming to Helene's performance troup, as it is rumored that the majority of them were not performers by choice. It is also rumored that if you failed to perform, you ended up servicing the client in other ways. Her little muses (what she liked people to call her inentured performers) were also tattooed with a birdcage and her initials. This was assumed to be involuntary as well.
However, Helene operated unimpeded under the protection of The Billhooks, who got a healthy kickback from her profits. Only the unaware or the truly vile patronized her menagerie. Unfortunately, there were plenty of both. One night around 843 or 844 IE, a small group of her performers sabotaged the boiler in the basement, causing the entire building to be blown to pieces.
