The Blackstone Mountains

This mountain range is 2,818 miles long, reaches 48,171 feet at its highest point, and many of its slopes are treacherous. Most of the lower range is covered in deep snow and gravel, and the weather is usually stormy. The upper regions frequently experience fog.   Rare fruit can be found deep within the range.   There is vast tundra to the West, an expanse of low hills and temperate forest to the South, a cold desert to the East, and a frozen wasteland to the North.   Much of the Southeastern part of the range is within the borders of the Kingdom of Northwich. The town of Oakheart Valley is nestled defensively in a mountain pass to the South where the range is less trecherous and leads to rolling forested hills. The Western half of the range is within the Kingdom of Kincardaine.
