Djado

Djado is the ruins of a large town from the era of the Sekani Kingdoms built atop a decent sized mesa. It is near several tributaries that flow together to become the Dhaarfir River. The various tributaries carry water more of the year than the lower reaches of the Dhaarfir, and a small semi-arid forest of palms has managed to thrive in the areas around it.
Djado sits about 100' up above the palm forest below with near vertical cliff faces all around. Carefully circling the mesa will reveal a few slightly easier ways to reach the top of the mesa and proper ruins of the town. Most of it remains as a series of crumbled buildings and walls. The buildings were, and remain, closely constructed, and the ruin has the feeling of an open maze. The largest ruin is the crumbling remains of an ancient keep or citadel.
