Namman

Namman is the name of the region of wildspace that contains the Seven Spheres. It is a large cloud of phlogiston that contains seven distinct spheres that are locked to static positions within the phlogiston.

The Spheres

1. Andu'i'anda, "Forever and Ever"

Andu'i'anda, or "Forever and Ever" in devashin, is the first of the spheres. Itx exterior appears as a zocchihedron. Each of its 100-sides is flat and crystalline, and appears to be made of ammolite. The interior walls of the sphere are dotted with ever-burning sconces whose light is projected from captured stars.   Inside the sphere are gargantuan petrified corpes of six impossibly large titans. These titans are referred to be many names but are most commonly called The First Gods, The Prime Titans, or simply The Six. In one hand of each frozen, stone corpse, is a single world suspended above their palms.   At the center of Andu'i'anda is a seventh titan, commonly referred to as Exnihilo. Exnihilo's chest is pulled apart, ribs cracked open wide by hooks attached to chains that descend into the infinite abyss below. The heart of Exnihilo, still beating, releases heat and light like that of a great white star.   Andu'i'anda has six worlds, one for each of the Prime Titans. The first is An, an Air-type discworld. The second world is En, a Water-type discoworld. The third world is Inan, a belt of fire that strikes across Anu. Nin is the fourth world, an Earth-type discworld with a ring of water suspended above it. Utunu is the fifth world, an Earth-type cubic world with alternative rings of water and ice that circle above it. Lastly is Zasaba, an earth type sphere with a singular moon.

2. Kuro'no'deva, The Forge of God

Kuro'no'deva, transalted as "The Forge of God", is the second of the spheres. It's shape is that of a great dodecahedron. The exterior appears to be made of pyrope.   Kuro'no'deva contains 6 worlds. At its center is the star forge, a neutron star that is captured within a framed gate to the elemental planes of air and fire. From this volatile center, streams of hot and cold air rip through the sphere like rivers. Within these rivers are each of the six worlds of Kuro'no'deva, held aloft in the air currents. The denizens of these spheres are able to travel between worlds without many of the risks typical of travelling through wildspace.   Common denizens of this sphere are dracians, sylphians, humans, dwarves, gnomes, and harpies.

3. Uo'i'Ua, "Brother and Sister"

Uo'i'Ua, translated as "Brother and Sister", or "The Siblings", is the smallest crystal sphere in namman. It is named after its two worlds that orbit a massive quasi-star called Umiamu, the Mother, located at the center of the sphere. The exterior shell of Uo'i'Ua is shaped like a perfect perfect sphere, and appears as if made from citrine. The interior of the sphere is filled with cast-off stardust resulting in colorful nebulae all around the outer perimeter's of Uo'i'Ua's wildspace.   Uo'i'Ua contain just two worlds: the earth-type sphere world called Uoki and an air-type sphere called Uaki. Both worlds orbit the central quasi-star, Umiamu, in alternating fashions: Uoki orbits counterclockwise, while Uaki orbits clockwise. The air world of corot orbits so closely to the star that its atmosphere is in the process of being stripped by the star. This has created a thick band of atmospheric gasses that emerge from Uaki and slowly feed the star. Some of this atmosphere and energy is cast off into wildspace, creating the colorful nebulae that float through Uo'i'Ua.   Uoki is a desert world with little groundwater. Deep beneath the surface are subteranean oceans that house many dark-dwelling aquatic creatures. Uoki is home to humans, kulullu, naga, dracians, dragons, rakshasa, and other creatures and peoples native to warm, arid climates. Uoki is also the known ancestor world of the girtablu, a race of human-scorpions.

4. Sophia'sh Virdki "Verdant Worlds of Sophia"

The fourth sphere of namman is Sophia'sh Virdki, translated as the "Verdant Worlds of Sophia," or translated literally as Sophia's Lush Worlds. Often its name is shortened to Virdki. The exterior of the sphere appears as a perfect sphere. Its surface looks similar to opal. From inside, the shell appears as an opaque black metal, etched with runes from an unknowable language that appear to glow a faint green. Sophia'sh Virdki is the largest of the spheres, containing 10 worlds.   The many worlds of Virdki contain a wide variety of creatures and sophonts.

5. Lasthanu'Iden "Water of Life Without End"

Lasthanu'Iden, "The Water of Life Without End", is the fifth sphere, and the most different from the rest of the spheres. Lasthanu'Iden appears as a sphere of sapphire. The interior, instead of containing the empty void known as wildspace, is filled with water.   Lasthanu'Iden is one massive water body. At its center is a yellow star, a fire world of dense magma that provides heat and light through the rest of the sphere. The more distant one is from the center, the darker and colder the waters become. Due to this, the outer perimeter of the sphere is frozen solid. There some pockets of warmer, unfrozen water. These pockets surround small planetoids with magma cores which vent heat and some light to their immediate surroundings.   Life within Lasthanu'Iden is varied. Near the center of the sphere, where the waters are warmer and brighter, life is abundant. Planetoids and asteroids can be found covered in coral and other aquatic vegetation, and clouds of free-floating vegetation drift within the currents, both carrying and leading a myriad of life forms.

6. Kino'Nergal "The Land of No Return"

the sixth sphere is Kino'Nergal. Other names include "The Land of No Return", "The Dark Sphere", and "Death's Sphere". The exterior of the sphere appears as a massive bubble of darkness that constantly shifts, expanding and retracting constantly. This is an illusion; the sphere does in fact have a rigid shape from which spelljammers enter and exit the sphere, though the illusory nature of the sphere's surface makes travel difficult. Many wreckages float around the sphere, one of the reasons for the sphere's name.   The other reason for Kino'Nergal's name is that it is devoid of any fire body. The interior of Kino'Nergal is entirely dark. Despite this, it is abundant in life. Kino'nergal contains 8 spheres of varying shapes and sizes. At the center is a dimly-lit, partially frozen star called The Crystal Star. The worlds of Kino'Nergal revolve around the star, but only the closest worlds receive its faint light. One further world, an earth sphere, is in fact a hollow world that contains a small star. Other worlds have fully subterranean populations. Asteroids and meteors carrying fungal life are common through the sphere, and the interior walls of the sphere are covered in patches of black, green, and red fungi.

7. Ferran, "The Last"

Ferran is the last sphere of namman. It contains seven worlds of a variety of shapes and sizes. The exterior of Ferran appears as a sphere composed of spectrolite, and its interior shell appears as a solid black surface dotted with stars held in place by large magnetic discs.   Ferran contains seven worlds.

Other Stellar Bodies

Unlike other regions of the phlogiston, namman contains more than just crystal spheres. Below are the known charted stellar bodies of namman.
