Raid on the Orc Camp

Session 3

We attacked the camp with the aid of the goblins inside who saw us as liberators.   Brynn accidentally cast Sacred Flame at a friendly and then tried to climb one of the walls, fell and impaled himself on the palisade. Not too bad, though.   We killed multiple orcs as we invaded the camp and took over the facilities, but the leader escaped.   We followed him into the main building and found some barrels of orc alcohol, or “orcohol” if you will.   Brynn made an ass of himself getting drunk and vomiting everywhere.   Carric led the way following the leader upstairs and found a secret bolt-hole.   Erran split the party and looted the orcs as the rest of us followed Carric down the bolt-hole into a subterranean facility.   In one of the rooms of the facility, we found an intricate design on the floor with a nine-pointed star.   Brynn accidentally stepped on one of the points, which caused it to light up. That, in turn, appeared to cause several sconces to light up.   Adolf tricked Brynn into activating the other points of the star, and released a corpse-golem.   We fought the corpse golem for a long time, killing it over and over again, but it kept coming back to life.   Brynn tried to light it on fire, selflessly sacrificing his wineskin full of orcohol, but to little avail.   The monster was finally defeated by Dru(?) and it collapsed to the ground.
