Holy Mother Eletha Faroris the bad made changes in government that lead to separation and civil war within the elven lands.

Elyon Loracryn grew tired of Holy Mother Eletha's management of power, saying it was nearer to a dictatorship then a theocracy. Through bloodshed, House Loracryn and several other houses pulled out of the Nazinese Theocracy to form their own republic.   War between the two nations lasted 74 years. During that time, the first 2 leaders of the new republic were poisoned.
