Writhing Fog
Writhing Fog is a 1st level priest spell only usable by shamans. All shamans automatically receive this spell and do not have to select it on level-ups. The shaman himself is immune to the effects of this spell.
This spell conjures a cloud of writhing fog that chills and hinders anyone within its area other than the caster.

12 - 13 | A 20-ft. radius cloud of fog erupts from the a point the caster can see and lingers for 3 turn2s. Creatures in the fog take 1d4 points of cold damage per round. In addition, there is a 20% chance that they must make a Fort Save or be slowed for 1 round. Creatures immune to cold damage do not suffer any adverse effects from this spell. |
14 - 17 | A 30-ft. radius cloud of fog erupts from the a point the caster can see and lingers for 1 hour. Creatures in the fog take 1d6 points of cold damage per round. In addition, there is a 20% chance that they must make a Fort Save or be slowed for 2 rounds. Creatures immune to cold damage do not suffer any adverse effects from this spell. |
18 - 21 | A 40-ft. radius cloud of fog erupts from the a point the caster can see and lingers for 2 hours. Creatures in the fog take 1d8 points of cold damage per round. In addition, there is a 20% chance that they must make a Fort Save or be slowed for 4 rounds. Creatures immune to cold damage do not suffer any adverse effects from this spell. |
22 - 24 | A 50-ft. radius cloud of fog erupts from the a point the caster can see and lingers for 1 day. Creatures in the fog take 1d10 points of cold damage per round. In addition, there is a 20% chance that they must make a Fort Save or be slowed for 8 rounds. Creatures immune to cold damage do not suffer any adverse effects from this spell. |

The cloud will dissipate on its own in 1d4 days. Creatures in the fog take 1d14 points of cold damage per round. In addition, there is a 20% chance that they must make a Fort Save or be slowed for 1 turn. Creatures immune to cold damage do not suffer any adverse effects from this spell. |
28 - 31 | A cloud of fog erupts from the a point the caster can see. The cloud can be any shape the caster wishes, but can not exceed a height, width and depth of 80-ft. The cloud will dissipate on its own in 1d6 days. Creatures in the fog take 2d10 points of cold damage per round. In addition, there is a 20% chance that they must make a Fort Save or be slowed for 2 turns. Creatures immune to cold damage suffer half damage from this spell. |
32+ | A cloud of fog erupts from the a point the caster can see. The cloud can be any shape the caster wishes, but can not exceed a height, width and depth of 100-ft. The cloud will dissipate on its own in 1d8 days. Creatures in the fog take 2d14 points of cold damage per round.
