The Esoteric Order is a cult founded by the defiant worshippers of the old gods, as they broke their oaths with Helios, around the Era of Ethereum, circa 130 AD. It is said they became infatuated with the voice of the sea as it whispered of freedom from servitude to the heavens. By the voice behest, they led a group northward to the shattered isles and founded a new nation of the occult and esoteric, all forged in the eye of defiance, cursed by Helios and his light forever.

As with most, they look to the heavens for guidance and comfort, but we consummate the shadows of the lost places and rise above it all, to usher those who are blinded by the light, in truth, blood and salt.
