The Human Wave is a swarm tactic used by Ravana, Bandit Commander simply because of its efficiency at taking out entrenched archers and knights. According to her historian, it was the only tactic that she had misgivings using, due to the high casualty rates it produced. However, it helped her destroy loyalist militia fighting in the mountain villages.
