Eternal Church
Then Eternal Church is the 5th age split from the Crown Cult. The official religion of Idria headed by the Triarchy, a holy council consisting of the siting Monarch of Idria as the voice of Kang, the Archbishop of Idmouth as the voice of Anbor, and the head of the sermons, the annually elected priest of Starlina who conducts the years death sermons at Idmouth.
The Modern Pantheon
The Warpriests Religion
Born in a land that lives and breaths warfare the priests of the eternal church do not sit ideally by while braver folk decide the fate of the world, nay the warrior priests of Anbor are as fierce a fighting force as any. Famous on the battlefield as diehard warriors, the Warpriests are also seen behind the frontlines, training the best of the best and stood at the side of Kings and Generals as they forge their great plans.Falkie Fyre
Of all the great portents that have been granted by the gods none shine brighter then Falkie Fyre, a spirit of Falkie given voice by Anbor Falkie Fyre takes the form of a flaming (sometimes literally sometimes figuratively) falcon and in the ancient legends of the Idric people was oft to guided them out of hard times. The first sighting of Falkie Fyre was upon the hill of Anglesteed and on that holy sight was built a great temple at the heart of the emerging city. Latest of all sightings was in before the summet of Dawnhelm when Falkie Fyre portented the divine crusade to crush the Crescentine Cult at Aldulor.Holy Citys
The Eternal church considers three citys most holy.Idmouth,
The port city where the aspect of Anbor appeared to the future Queen Daphne of Idria during the war of Five Houses (4A 276). Anbor met with Daphne in white cliff castle and guided her on retaking Idria from the pretender king. After the war Queen Daphne converted white cliff castle into a great temple to Anbor and comissioned the building of a great monastary for the Warpriests. Due to the ban on religious military after the War of Death Queen Daphne could not openly name them an order of Anbor, as such they were made a sect of the Knights of Elden under the Guidance of Anbor. Whitetemple is the heart of the Eternal Church and the holy city of Idmouth is vital to the churches survival.Anglesteed
It is said that in the elder days the people of Idria came from the Ridric flats, slaves to the Elves of Eldenkros. During the Namadarini wars of the First age the people of Ridria rose up against the elves at the sign of a towering Red Horse, the first aspect of Anbor. The uprising was lead by William Freerider, ancestor of both the Donsteedian and Idrian royal familys. The Freerider line built their first great keep of the hill of Anglesteed (old Ridric for Holy Horse). This hill was chosen under another holy Portant, the first sighting of Falkie Fyre, the voice of Anbor on the wings of Falkie. As such Anglesteed is of vital importance to the Eternal Church who want nothing more then to reclaim the holy city from the savages who rule it.El-Mistif
Most Controversial of the citys considered most holy to the Eternal Church is El-Mistif. While the Crown Cult will tell that the Queen of Night was the tyrant daughter of death, the Eternal Chruch knows that this is a farce constructed by Eldenclaw the justify his rule. The Queen of Night was a conquerer yes, but one who in Anbors light united the Seal. She was visited by Anbor who taught her to fight and together they forged a mighty suit of armour with which to conquerer the Seal. Once the Seal was conquered Kang visited the Queen and guided her on rule, he instructed her to build a great city on Eldenmont from which she could govern the Seal. Whatever corrupted the Queen of Night when she was bannished to the Shaddowfell she was an instrument of Anbor and Kang and the city built by her hands is a holy site, even if reduced to rubble. Though a far less popular idea, some in the church talk of leading a crusade to rebuilt El-Mistif in the name of the Eternal Church.
