Equus the Warmother (Eck-we-us)
Equus the Warmother, godess of horses, riding, and warfare. Equus is the most important deity in the pantheon, revered by warriors for her power and speed. She is often depicted as a horse with a warrior's helmet or as a human with a horse's head.
Rites to Equus often incude leaving offerings of apples and hey at shrines and her followers often wear a horseshoe charm and adorn there armour and weapons with horse hair and symbolism.
