Though the beginning date is in question, it has been historically marked that the disappearance of the elves of Elvenstone who once occupied the valley in relative isolation and peace occurred some hundred years before the territory was annexed by Sovereign Sword Coast. Geologists and experts in the dating of magical artifacts estimate the elves could have lived in the valley undisturbed before this date for thousands of years.
