Dampreed

Centuries ago, the official seat of power of Lord Chudrel Rapier in the valley. As it has always been, the village of Dampreed is underdeveloped, small, and insubstantial.

Demographics

An even mix of most races, even including a few goblins. Class-wise, it is home to mostly poor fishermen, and a temporary place of rest for passing highway robbers, river pirates, and lowlifes.

Government

The village still adheres to official documentation from the library in Beregost and have extensive records themselves, though largely as a cultural pass time. While a few of Chudrel's direct descendants still live in the village, they hold no real power, though their family is influential--as influential as a family in a town of two hundred residents can be.

Geography

Dampreed rests on the banks of the Roots of the Sea, just at the mouth of the valley where the rapids calm and the fish are plenty.
