The Roselands

The Roselands exist around the confluence of the Rosewyn and Ghale Rivers. The lands are a fertile place for both agriculture and the culture of the people who live there. However, this does not come without costs. The history of the Roselands is one of near constant conflict.   The country of Lyore spans the coastal flood planes of the Roselands, and is most certainly a land in the middle. From its earliest days as tribal lands to the nation-building wars of the past few centuries, and with troubles from beyond the known boundaries of reality, Lyore is a land that has many dangers, but also many opportunities.   The lands also extend West, to the Free Cities, lands of constand war, innovation and trade intrigue. These lands are steeped in history, with empires rising and falling like the tide. Even the gods have changed throughout the history of these cities. An area primed for interest.
