Bipalium
A grotesque fusion of worm and nightmare, the bipalium slithers through the dark, its slick, ribbon-like body shimmering with unnatural hues. Its flat, shovel-shaped head bears no resemblance to a face. It feeds by latching onto living creatures, secreting a paralytic toxin as it consumes flesh and vitality in grotesque undulations. Worse, any severed piece of the creature writhes back to life, spawning smaller, equally ravenous offspring. Some say these creatures are drawn to sources of necrotic energy, making them a loathsome herald of death and decay.
