It keeps the contents it is protecting cool or warm via conditioning powered by a Portable Tri-Core battery. They can survive a lot of kinetic damage and are capable of making a pocket force field for a minute using a fully charged battery. MSCs have an alternative version powered by Anima which are more secure and are often the alternative chosen by Albardines.
