Chivalrous Respite

A small mining town at the border of the sands and the Scarlet Canyons. It started as a camp site for miners until it expanded to accommodate their families and eventually a full functioning town with some commerce that trade excess minerals, supplies, and medicine from mountain plants.

It gained its name after a tragic event many years ago. When the location was still a mining camp, the workers were often plagued by desert bandits every day. By chance a group of three individuals wielding swords appeared and after hearing the camp's issue they offered to help. The three were members of a volunteer hero collective known as Chivalrous Respite, which practices a code of Chivalry to always lend a hand with the strength of the sword. Even if the hero group had no headquarters, they operate within the community.

The three members of Chivalrous Respite used the canyon terrain to their advantage to get the upper hand, but ultimately all three of them ended up sacrificing their life to ward off the desert bandits. In their honor the location was named after their hero group.
