Malar's Hunt

Hunt Lodge Law

1. Those who wish to participate in The Hunt, must purchase a license specific to the time of year and type of prey.
2. Those who choose not to participate in the hunt must pay minimum license fee, and join the lottery for the Final Hunt of the Year.
3. Hunting out of season is prohibited.
4. Hunting without a license is prohibited.
5. Taking more than the limit/prey type stated on the license is prohibited.

Malar may be chaotic in nature, but he is not stupid, and does *somewhat* care about prey population levels. In fact, he has contracted out to an Erinyes the management of prey populations and licencing of hunters. One of the perks she gets is the license to hunt down any hunter who breaks Malar's laws.

1. Bear: Dwarf.
2. Cougar: Elf or half-elf.
3. Deer: Human, Phastian.
4. Elk: Human, Ostian.
5. Initiate: an "unblooded" hunter.
6. Master: a hunter with at least 10 confirmed kills, comprised of at least one of each prey species.
7. Protected prey: prey considered off limits, includes pregnant females and unmated young.
8. Resident: lodge member
9. Worthy Prey: a lodge member who has not taken a trophy, but has survived being hunted.
