The Southsea Cookbook

Despite its simple name, the Southsea Cookbook is one of the most famous and widely spread set of recipes and culinary ideas in the entire eastern region. It's a rather large volume, details many well-known and traditional Southsea dishes, from their large range of ways to prepare seafood to how to properly use herbs native to the region, unique desserts, and more. There's even a large section on the rather famous Southsea teas, which has helped boost its sales among nobility, and in elven cultures, the vast majority of whom have a love for tea.   Numerous copies have been produced and spread far from the Southsea region itself, sales greatly bolstered by the renown Southsea cuisine already had. The notable sales and spread of this recipe collection has also been a notable boon to fishermen and spice traders in Southsea, as many of their goods are a staple of several of the dishes presented within the book.
I don't know what it is about those Southsea folk and the Sea Elves, but they know food better than just about anyone but those halflings up north. I start serving their recipes, and suddenly I have twice the business I had before. Some kinda food wizards, I'm telling you.
— Handa, Glenweald Chef
Rumors tell of a second edition in the works, though most of Southsea's most famous dishes are already contained within the first. However, given the popularity of the first and the creativity of some of the chefs working on it, its undoubted that it will sell well, whether it can replicate the success of the original or not.   While it primarily serves as a cookbook by far, some of the teas contained within have been known to have certain curative properties, or at least aid with the treatment of certain symptoms, leading copies to be kept within the occasional medicine house as well.
