The Emberforge

The Emberforge, despite its name, is a full town, and a fairly large one at that. Its most prominent feature, of course, is the very large forge near the center of town. The forge itself known for being of of the largest and hottest burning in the entire world. Some of the most renowned weapons are crafted there, as well as many more mundane metalworking goods.
The central forge isn't the only forge in the city, with some of the more mundane work being pushed off to the secondary forge where apprentices work. The apprentices of Emberforge or still among the world's higher-tier smiths however, so the workmanship is certainly not sub-par.
As for the town itself, the areas not related to mining or smithing are fairly quiet, not having any other standouts from typical Emberfoot halfling towns. It is on the richer side in general, though most of that wealth resides with the smiths and the shops that sell their wares.
Weapons forged here are generally kept within Emberfoot territory, as it is one of their greatest military advantages over their rivals, though they have been sold in low quantities to adventures at times, and a few of the famed arms have made their way into the rest of the world.

Guilds and Factions

The smiths of Emberforg,e while not exactly a proper guild, are a rather famed group that share their best smithing secrets and choose some of the most promising smithies from the lands around to take on as apprentices. Getting taken under the wing of one of these smiths is certainly not easy, but it is widely regarded as the best place to go if one wants to make a name for themselves as a skilled craftsman of metal.
