Ground Crawler
Ground Crawlers are an usual construct created by the people of Vestra out of ancient technology and powerful magic. It's a construct of sorts, much like a golem, though larger and hollow on the inside. Ground crawlers are operated typically by three mages using magical terminals on the inside of the construct to control various functions.
While the magic required to operate them isn't terribly complex, it takes a very skilled team in coordinating their efforts to properly pilot a ground crawler. This is typically a rather long training process, done in the large unpopulated areas of Vestra, as a ground crawler pilot by inexperienced mages can prove rather dangerous for those around.
Weapons & Armament
Ground crawlers are best known for attacking things on right, with four large stone arms to swing for typically devastating effect. They are typically also outfitted with magical offenses as well however, from magic missile runes to powerful and complex fireball launchers. This makes them very useful for battering an oncoming force as it approaches before switching into melee offense once the enemies have closed the distance.
Armor and defense
The stone ground crawlers are created from is also very hard to damage without powerful magic or large siege weaponry, but the enchantments placed across them only makes this more difficult. The deflection fields around them make it hard for even siege weapons to land a solid enough hit to do notable damage, despite the huge size of ground crawlers. This is perhaps what they are most feared for, being too dangerous to ignore and simply far too difficult to bring down.
Rarity
Extremely rare. Only Vestra has the technology to construct them, and even then only four exist to the entire kingdom. They take years for several mages and engineers working together to construct and enchant, and millions of gold pieces in the process.
