The first exploration of the growing cosmos by the Eight Old Gods, culminating with the discovery of other higher beings.

If they gave themselves any names, these are long forgotten. Corigon, as the Fabae call them, was the most curious of the eight Old Ones, and wanted to explore the cosmos to its ends.     They journeyed into each Dimension, noting how the twenty-five realities were quite similar to each other. Five Worlds had taken form, each with five Dimensions within them. And in each Dimension there was a version of the planet Earth, the solar system, and everything else. Perfect replicas, like a collection of snowglobes.     Corigon wanted to know how this all worked. Their investigation into the structure of the cosmos led them to find two newly-born divine beings: one of Order, one of Chaos, both malevolent and hungry.
