Episode 29 - Secret Journey (Part 1)

On orders from Major General Winters Jema Lzra, Wheels and Smoko travel to the Oasis Space Station to infiltrate a meeting between a high ranking Imperial agent and a member of Santhe Industries . while there they find a mysterious group with strange affiliations...

On orders from Major General Winters Jema Lzra, Wheels and Smoko travel to the Oasis Space Station to infiltrate a meeting between a high ranking Imperial agent and a member of Santhe Industries .
Once they arrive at the station they learn they cannot take their weapons out of the hanger, Jema Lzra hides a stun baton, they pass through security without incident thanks to Jema's wiley charms.   Once inside it didn't take long for our intrepid adventurers to find the The Crystalline Moon and order a drink. The bar was heaving with Customers waiting to watch Bo-cham and her zero g orchestra. They find out the meeting is meant to take place at this very bar in the VIP area.   Having purchased one VIP pass, Smoko attempts to create some duplicates in the toilets without much luck.   Jema Lzra heads for the stairs while Wheels and Smoko attempt to sneak past the Bouncers. Jema makes it up the stairs and hears the conversation.   Santhe Industries have been selling the Imperials schematic on their new armoured tanks, they were also selling information on Tartarus-2, but the imperials were outbid by a strange organisation on the space station.   Once they leave they attempt to follow both of the men, unfortunately both got away.   Grabbing some food from a street vendor they start to notice the amount of the strange robed figures who populate the space station. One even interrupted them while talking to the vendor to get a package using a strange phrase - Through Victory my chains are Broken.   Before heading back to their ship the decision is made to investigate this cult to see who is in charge and what their interest in Tartarus-2 is.   Heading to the accommodation hub led by the smell of sandalwood they meet Buffy the Buff droid, a droid with a singular purpose to BUFF! They slice into Buffy's memory banks to see where the cult congregates.   They walk up to the door with the torches flanking the doorway and say the pass phrase, Through Victory my chains are Broken.   They enter into a room glowing with lights and a large desk with three robed figures behind a desk. They ask them if they are interested in joining them, they play along, this goes on until they start asking too many awkward questions. The door is sealed and a fight ensues, knives come out as Smoko attempts to open the door but without any success, in fact blast doors lock them further in. While all this is happening the room catches fire and the leader flees though a hidden door.   Having defeated the other cult members they flee the flames through the secret door.   They follow the cult leader and end up in the under construction section of the space station, the cult leader flees up though a lift shaft. Wheels chases him up the lift shaft with Jema and Smoko supporting from below. Wheels makes some daring jumps using vents and moving platforms. Just as he catches up to the leader when a ship appears though the view port and sees him for a slug thrower and jumps out into space and onto the waiting ship. With all the air sucked from the lift shaft everyone had to grab on to make sure they weren't sucked off into space, even with their lucky grabs injuries were still sustained.
