Magic in Trolldom

Magic is an everyday part of life in all parts of Troldom! In Aridos you may see water elementals working in the water collection sites pulling moisture from the air or purifying water from the sea. In the capital a young light mage may be seen putting light in street lanterns at night. In the Isle of the Lost itis common to visit Diviners Hall to gain some insight to a problem you or your family face. From the mother using a homemade potion to cure her child's cold to the Grandmages with endless power magic is everywhere.
Everyone has a little magic in them, and it must be nurtured. The testing at seven reveals which affinity in magic the child holds. Some will discover an affinity to an element, always a happy discovery. Others may not have an elemental affinity but still hold an affinity to another magic branch, and there are many! Diviners, healers, potioneers, charmers and more may not be as celebrated but are vital none the less. And while there may be an affinity nothing stops young mages from learning the other branches as well.
