Ziksatta

Ziksatta (a.k.a. The Two-Headed Terror)

The first dragon to appear in Aydah in over a century, Ziksatta is perhaps the most alien and enigmatic dragon to manifest itself.

Physical Description

Body Features

Ziksatta is a long-necked dragon with a large, six-limbed form. Their wings are massive, spanning almost a hundred meters tip to tip, and their tail is covered with deadly sharp spines. Most notably, Ziksatta possesses two heads which share a single mind and will.

Facial Features

Each of Ziksatta's heads is vaguely axe-shaped, with a protrusion at the tip of each snout and another at the bottom of each jaw. Six horns - four curling from the side and two from the top - extend from each head. Two pairs of nostrils crown the end of each snout. Most notably, each head has six eyes on each side of the head, giving Ziksatta a remarkable twenty-four total visual organs. These eyes are sharp, and Ziksatta's vision is incredibly acute with an essentially omnidirectionalo field of vision. Within each massive jaw are rows of sharp platelike protusions of serrated bone that function as teeth, and three separate long and flexible tongues.

Special abilities

Ziksatta is a Dragon of Poison, and thus has powers relating to venom and corrosion. All water brought within about fifty feet of Ziksatta instantly turns to an undrinkable acidic poison; Those who have approached the beast have even reported feeling a mild burning sensation in their mouth as the dragon's aura transmutes their saliva into mild acid. Ziksatta is capable of breathing/expelling an extremely corrosive substance in an aerosolized form from glands in their throats, able to corrode and destroy almost any known substance. Ziksatta's six tongues can extend to a length matching that of the dragon's necks, are coated in the same corrosive substance, and are capable of grabbing, manipulating, or whipping things. During the attack on Donàsh Säzí, the dragon used its tongues to grab and constrict victims, the coating of corrosive acid agonizingly melting the victims. Daynànda Shena's mother was grappled in this way with one tongue across her torso, constricted tightly while the poison-coated tongue slowly and agonizingly melted its way through its body, melting her entirely in half.
