Naga

Naga are a rare variety of lizardfolk with serpantine lower bodies and even more snake-like features.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Naga resemble lizardfolk but with serpentine lower bodies rather than the therapodian legs of more common varieties of lizardfolk. Their heads and bodies tend to be smoother and lack the spines and fins found on common lizardfolk. They are slow on land but excellent swimmers.

Ecology and Habitats

Unlike common lizardfolk, most naga societies have settled down to more sedentary lifestyles, dwelling especially in the swamps where they are most mobile.

Biological Cycle

Like common lizardfolk, naga shed their skin regularly.

Additional Information

Social Structure

Naga tend to have much looser and less definied social structures than common lizardfolk. Naga cultures have developed to value competition and strength much more than the cooperation and service emphasized by cultural groups such as the Sayasak.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Naga senses are similar to the lizardfolk paradigm but more pronounced. Their vision and sense of smell are even more acute but their hearing is even less so.
