The Great Shapers

What are the Great Shapers?
The Titans are an ancient race that predates even the gods themselves. Among the Titans there existed a select few who have existed since the earliest ages of the universe, and who helped shape the very foundations of the world. Those Titans were known as the Great Shapers, and they wielded vast amounts of power. Only a handful of the Great Shapers remain, and those that do are scattered and frequently at odds with each other. Most of the remaining Great Shapers choose to spend their lives in hiding, keeping to themselves and meditating on their philosophies, only interfering with the rest of reality in secret, when they feel they have no other choice.

The Great Shapers Power
The Great Shapers are immense beings that wield powers even greater than most gods. Each of the Great Shapers can control six different Divine Aspects, and has their own divine realm. Notably the Great Shapers powers are not drawn from mortal worship. Their powers are inherent to themselves, and function in situations where many godlike beings would be cut off from much of their strength, though they are still augmented by the worship of other beings. The Great Shapers also boast considerable powers against gods and other beings that wield Divine Aspects. When confronted by another god or godlike being that shares a matching Divine Aspect, the Shapers control will take precedence, and the other being’s power over the aspect will be nullified. The Divine Realms of the Shapers are also capable of draining the Divine Essence from other godlike beings. As a result the Great Shapers are typically allowed to take residence wherever they so choose, so long as they maintain their policy of limited interference as it would be a great risk for any other being to challenge them.

Worshipping the Great Shapers
The Great Shapers do not have many worshippers. They have no need to actively seek out worshippers as their powers are inherent to them, and they would much prefer to keep themselves hidden from forces that may seek to harm them, and interact with the world through a small number of dedicated servitors and subsidiaries. There are still a small number scattered throughout the world, though most of those who actively worship the Great Shapers are members of communities specifically dedicated to protecting the Shapers and enacting their will throughout the planes. On rare occasions the Great Shapers will choose to leave the safety of their Divine Realms in order to travel the planes and asses their state for themselves. On several of these excursions the Shapers have performed deeds that have led to individuals worshipping them without ever knowing the true nature of who they worship. There have also been occasions where one of the Shapers will command one of their servants to take on one of the false personas the Shaper gained, allowing them to gain the powers of a demigod, and giving the Shaper a source of information outside of their realm.

The Keys of the Genesis Vault
There is a specific reason for the caution of the Shapers, as they hold an important role in the stability of the world. The Great Shapers each protect the keys that keep the titan Genesis sealed in his prison in the center of the world. Should even a single Shaper be slain, and their key released, it would allow for more energy to return to Genesis, allowing him to empower his own forces far more. Should all the Great Shapers be slain, Genesis would be released, and the world would likely fall to ruin.
