Gromtia, The Lady of Strength

Gromtia is the goddess of strength, and constantly encourages her followers to seek out new challenges and improve themselves. Gromtia is prayed to for the strength to overcome the hardship of life, and many seek her guidance in times of great strife such as war or drought. She is depicted as a tall muscular woman with metallic silver skin, and armor plated clothing. Gromtia shuns those who seek out an easy life, and rewards those who seek out new challenges and overcome them. She is a god of battle, but she is not a god of war. Gromtia views war as a massive waste of life, and prefers challenges where both combatants can walk away to improve themselves and try again.

Gromtia is primarily worshipped by humans, orcs, and dwarves as the challenges she focuses on more connected to feats of strength and overcoming hardship. She also sees some worship from giants.

Gromtia has an interesting relationship with her followers as she is just as likely to send them hardships as give them the means to solve their problems. When Gromtia believes a follower of hers could use more challenge to grow as a person, she sends one of her servants to challenge them in some way. They might engage in battle with a powerful warrior, or set up some sort of complicated mystery for a detective to solve. Some of Gromtia's servants have even gone so far as to build entire dungeons for the purpose of providing a challenge to those who wish for it. Followers who overcome her challenges are greatly rewarded.

Gromtia's followers are required to constantly seek out new challenges for the purpose of self improvement. They are to strive to become the best at what they do, and to encourage the others to do the same. Many of Gromtia's followers choose a specific life goal that they strive to accomplish. Most do not fulfil this task, but those who do go down as legends.
