As an action, you can attempt to bind a creature within 5 feet by making a Strength (Athletics) check contested by the target’s Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check (its choice). On a failure, the target is restrained until the start of your next turn, and its Legendary Resistances are suppressed for the duration. The chains can only affect creatures Large or smaller. A restrained creature can use its action to make a DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier athletics or acrobatics check to break free. Once a creature’s Legendary Resistances have been suppressed, this property cannot be used again until you finish a long rest.
