Xune, Drow Goddess of Fear
''And to you, my loyal children, I grant you the gift of knowledge. Knowledge that you are not, nor are you ever, alone. Always, from the shadows, you are watched, by cold, beady eyes that would prey on you the instant that your guard falls. I grant you the gift of fear, children. Use it wisely.'' - The Words of the Faith, Adventus 8:33-34In the deepest places of the Earth, there lies the Empire of the Drow, a slave society ruled by a caste of priestesses, worshipping the Lady of Spiders, Xune. Xune is the Goddess of Fear, and instils fear in all of worshippers as tests of strength and faith. Her highest paladins are said to have been shown such horrors by the goddess, they cannot fear anything else - making them invaluable in combating the darker, more terrifying beasts of the world. In addition, many who worship Xune argue that fear is a necessity for mortals to thrive and that, by exposing the people of Ratha to fear, Xune is, in fact, strengthening them for the trials to come in their life.
