Undead

Sometimes, the dead simply refuse to rest. Undead is a catch-all term for all those beings who should be dead, but refuse to rest, from the mindless zombies to the immensely powerful liches. All undead are usually shunned by "polite" society, and the servants of Varhay dedicate their lives to hunting them down - despite being undead themselves. A being can become undead through a number of means, though they are usually created by powerful necromancers for any number of purposes.

Biological Cycle

The undead are united by being dead - they don't need to eat or drink as normal people, and most don't need to sleep or breathe either. This does, however, mean that many of them will decay.
