The Dragon Emperor, or Empress, is the current ruler of the Ales Empire. Always a dragon, or one of their dragonborn children, the Emperor is a figure who demands respect and, depending on who holds the title, fear. The title of Emperor is one that changes frequently due to the assassinations and intrigue inherent to ruling in the Ales Empire. Currently, the title is held by the silver dragon Raknar, notable for her kindness and level head.
