The Concordat of the Pantheon

''Leave this world for the mortals. We gods shall travel afar, and create our own world, away from Ratha. All the gods shall sign this Concordat, that we shall be bound not to return in any but the most desperate circumstances. Take heart though, children, for we have not left you - always we shall watch over you, and once day, we shall embrace you again.' When the gods departed the world, they signed the Concordat of the Pantheon, stating that they would leave the world behind for their mortal followers, and agree to only directly intervene in the most dire of circumstances. For over 11,000 years, the Concordat has stood, but not all the gods agreed to it - Squall, Xune, Mora, and Merryweather are the most notable exceptions.
