Beyond the Forbidding Sea, at the westernmost edge of the explored world, there is a strange land, so the explorers say. This land is cloaked in endless jungles, dotted with cities of gold and jewels, inhabited by strange snake-men. Some in the Barrier Isles say that they were booted from these cities of gold by the snake-men, that they are dangerous invaders, but without a shared language, those of the rest of the world cannot know these snake-men or their cities for sure. And without further exploration, these Beastlands will remain largely unknown.
