The current ruler of the Mongrel Kingdoms is the hobgoblin Rhac. He was a high-up in one of the hobgoblin bands responsible for the protection of the Mongrel Kingdoms' borders, and was elected to be its leader after the murder of the Goblin, Gnubdibs, by an unknown assailant.
The leader of the Mongrel Kingdoms is elected after five years, and is a prestigious position, but one without a great deal of power. It largely serves as a mediator for conflict between members of the Mongrel Kingdoms, and calls the others to defend any kingdoms being threatened by foreign powers.
