Rego, Dragon God of Kings
'In the beginning, there was no land. There was roiling sea, filled with monsters, and the dragons flying above it. At the head of the dragons was their king, Rego, a god in the primal world. It is here that the world begins.' - The Words of the Faith, Orsus 1:1-3God of Kings and King of Gods, Rego is typically regarded as the chief deity of the pantheon. Represented as a regal gold dragon, sometimes clad in shimmering velvet, his word is the law that shapes the nature of the world, that pulls the other gods into line. He declared that the gods should be bound to their divine planes, only intervening directly in the world in the greatest of emergencies, and he is prayed to by every king, emperor, mayor and general in the Realms of Ratha. His paladins and clerics, clad in fine, golden armours, are advisers to kings, experts in courtly etiquette and intrigue, masterful generals, and, when called for, the assassins of tyrants. All to keep the royal lines intelligent, courageous, and true to their people.
