Loxodon
'Loxodon aren't fast, but they make up for it in pretty much every other way - they're wise, strong, tough, kind. I'd take one loxodon over ten humans, frankly - but they don't usually have the temper necessary to make the best soldiers. They'd rather lounge around, sharing songs and stories, than fight. But when angered, they're hurricanes.' - General Armdal ForgefireIt's hard to miss a loxodon - they are like elephants on two legs, among the largest of the civilized races, towering above their compatriots like islands emerging from the ocean. They are the definition of gentle giants, in truth, preferring to live out their life peacefully among their communities. They are hard workers, wise friends, and fantastic storytellers. They have a natural affinity for music - they say that almost every time you see a loxodon, they'll be humming or singing to themself - and consider wisdom and steadfastness fine traits to have. A story told by a loxodon, with their booming voices and patient wisdom, is quite the experience. This does not, however, mean that loxodon are harmless - quite the opposite, in fact. Their mighty forms grant them considerable strength and stamina, and that's to say nothing of their impressive tusks and prehensile trunks, both of which can be used to great effect to protect hearth and home.
