Kobolds
'I used to think kobolds were stupid, honestly. Little beggars live in caves and attack anyone who gets too close, for the most part. But they're bright, utterly ingenious when they want to be. I have an apprentice, Yip, and he's one of the finest artificers I've ever seen. A fantastic memory, and very creative. I can't wait to see his journeyman project, when the time comes.' - Calvyn Whistlenode, artificerKobolds are often described as dragonborn in miniature, and the description seems apt - the only major anatomical differences being size, a slightly longer, more doglike snout, and a lack of anything stronger than odor in their breath. Kobolds revere the dragons and dragonborn, and will often willingly become slaves to these mighty lizards. Outside this, kobolds are largely perceived as surprisingly intelligent, rigging their tribal caves with impressively elaborate traps and a decently high number having magical talent. Sometimes, a brave kobold will venture out into the wider world and, while they are often judged, they can be quick to prove themselves good members of a community.
