Iom, Dragonborn God of Change
'The hatchling was not as a dragon, but as a man, scaled like a dragon. He grew rapidly, reaching adulthood at the size of a man. Rego knew that this was a sign; 'The world wills that the mortals are the future! Let it be known to all dragons - the men are the heirs of the world!'' - The Words of the Faith, Incrementum 2:3-5For much of Ratha's history, the dragons were isolationist - they looked down their noses at the 'lesser' races of the world, interacting only to steal shining trinkets or edible livestock. Until, one day, over ten thousand years ago, across much of Ratha, dragons' eggs hatched into those that came to be known as Dragonborn - dragons, smaller and on two legs, like the 'lesser' races. The dragons saw this as a sign that there was potential to be like them in the lesser races, that the dragons' future lay with them. This change shook the world, leading to the founding of the Ales Empire, and from then on, Dragonborn were inherently tied to the concept of change, as was their god, Iom.
