Domhan, Dwarf Goddess of the Earth
'First to rise were the mountains, which we now call Domhanar. And the goddess said 'This, the first land, shall be my throne, and the palace of my children.' From these mountains, she raised the land from below the ocean, drowning the monstrosities below in the air, and sculpted it into the continents. 'Let this land be for my children and their brothers, a land of the mortals, lush and gentle for their living.'' - The Words of the Faith, Orsus 2:5-8At the border of the Land of Giants stand the Domhanar Mountains. It is here that the goddess Domhan, with skin of shale and diamond eyes, stood as she carved the land into shape. Forming cliffs and mountains, lakes and plateaus, she carved the land into a shape for the mortals to live on, and, breathing life into the stone of the mountains, created the dwarves. Prayed to by any connected to the earth, be it a miner, a metalsmith, or even a farmer, Domhan is one of the most widely worshiped gods in the Realms of Ratha. Her paladins are sworn to protect the deep areas of the earth, from foreign mines to the Deep Empire of the dwarves, and highly trained in fighting any such beasts that may be found beneath the soil.
