Bugbears
'Don't understand how a musclebound lump of fur can be sneaky, but the bugbears sure as hell manage it.' - Vanorin Eldergleam, adventurerBugbears are the largest and, arguably, the most terrifying, of the goblinoid races - large, hulking, furred figures, with disproportionately long arms. Alone, they live in simple, tribal societies, surviving off the land and working to prove their strength, aided by their surprising stealth abilities. Often, they are found living among the other goblinoids, where the hobgoblins will make them prized soldiers and the goblins will manipulate them to further their own ends. However, despite their characterization as stupid or primitive, they are truly no less intelligent than any of the other races. When allowed to thrive alone, as in some areas of the Mongrel Kingdoms, they can form a strong, thriving society.
