The Illithid Empire
The Illithid Empire was the society that the Illithids lived under coming from humble beginnings that managed to be the most powerful political organisation of the Old World
Originally the Illithid Empire was known as the United congregation of Illlithids and was created to unite the three main Illithid houses, House Cephalo, House Qu'ellar and House Valith. however in 730 it was reorganised into the Illithid Empire when Prollithius came to power. the Illithid Empire is responsible for creating most of the hostile creatures that inhabit the old world as they made significant advancements in the study of biological engineering. The Illithid Empire was dissipated after Prollithius was killed. Prollithius had reduced the number of Illlithids greatly before his death leaving few capable to lead the order. although the Illithid empire is no more the Illithids that still exist structure their societys similar to the ways of the Empire livining in colonies with an elder brain like they once did with Prollithius
