Session 3: The Fall of Paligrand

General Summary

After the death of Arkesh, Arthur, and Lanilus, the duo of Tal and Wymir try to find safety while the city of Paligrand is on fire and facing a huge terrorist attack illustrated by old remnants of the former Dragonborn army. On their way to safety Tal, and Wymir meet Wilbur, a rune knight a part of the city watch. They were escorted to the harbor with civilians by Wilbur and some guards. When at the harbor gates, Tal, Wilbur, Wymir, and some guards face two Dragonborn's, defeat them with Tal nearly dying. After this, the civilians, Tal, and Wymir enter a galleon. As they enter the galleon two more Dragonborn arrive, they have no interest in the civilians or the party but instead of a box on the dock. Wilbur commands 7 guards to attack the Dragonborn. One Dragonborn falls into the harbor, the other opens the box and mans the

Dragon Cannon, shortly after incinerating 3 guards Wilbur and 2 other guards throw the Dragonborn manning the Dragon Cannon into the harbor and then drive the cannon so it falls on the two Dragonborn in the harbor. After this Wilbur and the guards enter the galleon where Wymir and Tal rest. The galleon heads to Itremil but stops in Pýslíbrg where Wymir and Tal buy magic items, and Wilbur tortures a Dragonborn Prisoner to learn information regarding the terrorist attack.

Tal and Wymir

After the encounter where Arkesh, Arthur, and Lanilus died at the hand of Dragonborn terrorists Tal, Wymir, and Wounderfluff seek safety, but before that, they wish to take money and equipment that their prior "party members" had on them. Afterward, they seek safety and on their way, they find a runic knight named Wilbur.

Wilbur and His Mighty Shield

Wilbur commands a small group of guards. That with the help of Tal and Wymir defeat 4 Dragonborn, killing all but one. Wilbur then escorts Tal, Wymir, and some civilians to the harbor where a galleon awaits to evacuate to Itremil. By the gates to the harbor 2 heavily armored Dragonborn try to break into the harbor. Tal, Wilbur, Wymir, and the accompanying guards defeat the 2 Dragonborn. They escort the people into the galleon. As the civilians get aboard the ship with Tal and Wymir two more Dragonborn arrive with the goal of opening a crate. Wibur with the assistance of his guards knocks one of the Dragonborn into the sea. The other Dragonborn gets into the crate and attacks with a Dragon Cannon that lies within. The blast killing half of the guards, but Wilbur and his mighty shield get through the blast unscathed.

Dragon Cannon Fight

Wilbur, Wymir, and the remaining guards fight the Dragon Canon and its operator and then sink the cannon into the harbor killing both Dragonborn.

Galleon Escape

As the Dragon Cannon is defeated the new party of Tal, Wilbur, and Wymir set sail to the town Itremil.
