A pact made between two Souls, with or without the express knowledge of the Mind. Transcending may carry the benefits of being able to use the experiences and physical prowess the bonded Soul's previous life had led, though in most known cases, the two Souls reach a disagreement and the pact rapidly devolves into infighting and inefficient command.
Rare is the case that a match is made which works on the long-term, and most often such matches come with specific criteria the bonded soul wishes to have fulfilled.
Whether a good or bad match, the pact remains a temporary thing, and once the initial agreement has been accomplished, the bonded Soul is expected to release the bond.
