Chapter 2: The Troublesome Road to Clearcut Pass

General Summary

After purchasing the necessary supplies for a journey, Samantha headed out of the city. Realising she may have need of allies before venturing further, she had the luck to run into the Libra Guard, Corporal Gaelen. After being harried by a bird Gaelen told Samantha to frighten off, they reached the Checkpoint. Attempting to travel further alone resulted in further misfortune, being abducted by the bird during a battle. Left behind at the river, the Captain of the ferry informed Samantha what the beast was. Traveling to the abandoned fortress to pay tribute, Samantha, or Lakmir, was given the task to 'Assist the Girl'. Venturing into the dungeons to assist Queen Ziedrich, the two of them succesfully dealt with the skeletons amassing in the fortress and remove the curse off the item that summoned them. They now travel together.
